The new android 5.0 is one of the biggest update yet and they promise to provide a lot of changes in design. According to Android the android 5.0 will increase performance, improve battery lift and added new features.
Couple of days ago Samsung has announced this android 5 update will be available for their galaxy S5 on December, 2014 but this update will be equipped in galaxy S5 till January 2015.
Samsun Galaxy Note 4 is the latest arrived to the market and a bit too early to come with 5.0 android, But Samsung Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy Note 3 should receive 5.0 update worldwide very soon.
According to Sony blog they already announced that it will deliver the android 5.0 to the complete family of Xperia Z this include Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia tablet Z, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1S, Xperia Z Untra, Xperia Z1 Compact, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet and more.They shall start this update at the beginning of 2015.
According to HTC blog HTC has already purchase android lollipop code from Google and HTC promise to deliver lollipop update to HTC users within 90 days after purchase it from Google. This update will begin with HTC One series I.e. M8 and M7.
Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 are Google’s first devices to come with 5.0 lollipop, but there is no information about when this update will be available for other nexus devices.This update will also be available on the nexus 4, 5, 7, 10 and Google play devices very soon.
