All those devices which shows the result are called Output devices,these devices are used to communicate the results of data processed by the user.Output Devices consist of the following Devices:
  • Printer
  • Monitor
  • Disk Drive (CD)
What is Printer?
           The function of printer is to convert softcopy in to hardcopy.Printers show us output on the papers.Printers are divided into many different categories by its size,shape technoloy.Printers are divided in to Two categories and these are:
1) Inkjet Printers
2) Non-Inkjet Printers

Inkjet Printers:
                A printer in which the characters are formed by minute jets of ink.These printers are used now a days and they are much faster then non-inkjet printers.In these printers laser technoloy is used.These printers are noiseless and they dont require much electricity.
Non-Inkjet Printers:
                    Those printers which produce much noice and they need electricity.These printers are not using now a days.These printers were much expensive and they need alot of size.They need much time to print one character.
What is Monitor?
                    Monitor is the main output device and it is use to show the results on the screen.Monitor is an electronic device.Montiors are of two types:
  1. Color Montiors
  2. Monochromatic Monitors
Color Monitors:
               Color monitors are used now a days and in these monitors 7 colors are used and these colors combine with others to make other colors.

Monochromatic Monitors:
                       In these monitors only two colors were used i.e white and blake.These monitors are not using now a days.

What is Disk Drive (CD)?
                                              Disk Driver is an output use to transfer hard copy from one place to an other computer.CD stands for Compact Disk.
